just wondering. .

I would like your answer/ opinion on something
The other day I was wondering about anniversary's and relationships.
It had been one year since I was first introduced to Wonderboy, not a big deal but it still made me think.
I was wondering when is our anniversary, from what day do you count?

Is it the night we met at the Harajuku party? Our first date? First kiss or when he officially asked me to be his girlfriend?

What day have you and your lover, or an ex, considered THE DAY of your anniversary?

Oh chele, so cute! I say you count it starting when he asked you to be his girl friend, naturally.

I'd say its whenever you feel like celebrating.. Me & Mr W use the anniversary of our first official date as wed been seeing each other on and off for a while but I know others that use the date of when they very first met

My boyfriend and I count it from the first day we had sex, since we had know each other for about 6 years, but never dated, and also,we had sex before he 'officially' asked me to be his girlfriend. But we were each others' from that first time we had sex.

From when he stuck it on, of course!

This was always an issue for one of my girlfriends and I. She would claim we got together two months before I think we did...

Can't explain why that is bad, not in public, but...

Michelle, in the beginning my b/f and I was also a bit confused with which time was best as our anniversary. To save confusion, I'd say the day you guys were officially girlfriend/boyfriend. We stuck with that. Hope that helps!

My 'dating' anniversary is the day of our first date. (I totally asked him out). It was also our first kiss and we even have a picture of ourselves from that night...we also offically started dating after that night too.

So maybe I'm not a good person to ask. Everything happened on that night.

It is ALWAYS the date you become officially monogamous.

The time before that was just adventure leading to the relationship.

Do you celebrate your BIRTH day or your day of conception every year? EXACTLY.

If you like presents it's all of those days.

for me it would probably go from the first kiss.

My guesstimate would be the first date...

The first time he took you up the bottom, whilst making you wear a blonde wig...

So romantic.

(Psst - I'm back in bloggie land with a new one. Comments from yourself are always welcome!)

I guess the formal date used is the day it's made "official", that is to say you either talk about the status of said relationship or one of you asks the question. That's what I've gone by, anyway. But then there are always those relationships that are too hectic, sordid, and complicated to have any specific date you could go by. I guess it just varies by people and their relationships.

We got lucky... we met, kissed, and had what turned into a first date all on the same night.

HE got lucky, I suppose I should say... ;-)

Those are all anniversaries worth celebrating. Not until you get married do you have an official set-in-stone biggie to celebrate (and one he is required by natural law to remember).

The first time you know you're hanging out romantically. I've always ended up being in relationships with guys I've had as friends for a while. So, when it turned romantic, is when I say. If you were always romantic, then I say the first time you kiss. :)

It's been years since I've had to worry about that.....I guess I would choose whatever the girl says, as men don't really pay attention to that stuff.

ps. A year....that *is* a long time.

We count it as the day we had the discussion and decided to jump in and be boyfriend girlfriend. We kissed for the first time a few days earlier, what we count as our first date was two weeks earlier, and we met over a month earlier.
